• I did wonder if it was weather related. At very low throttle, when going over a speedbump there seems to be a sort of lductuation in power as the suspension travels. It's hard to describe. Might be to do with the traction control I suppose. I'm not stressing it.

I also think that the the power at higher throttle and speed is a bit down too, but again hard to tell. Could just be that I am driving the whole family and luggage.

If I was bothered I could put it on a Dyno. Instead I am just involving myself in the class action (apologies for US terminology) against VWG, the lying fraudulent bastards.

  • Tgis might be known as vw "slow down shudder"
If you disconnect some abs sensors (enough to loose the road speed) and it stops doing it then it's that.
My theory on sds is it's something that was destined for automatic cars to do something as they slow to a stop (does it most at 12-1mph range), which even when you have a manual the ecu is trying to do something.

Have a 2009 polo bluemotion that has ecu problems, think it was "fixed" by previous owner at a vw garage. As now we cannot accept ecu/rom, it's almost totally unresponsive to most obd gear including a £4K snap on machine and a legit live linked vw odis machine. Very annoy. Still does 70mpg though
