Yep, pretty simple. I'm a measure once cut twice, oh that's not quite right, it will probably be ok kinda DIY guy.
I only had some thin MDF for most of it (half his recommended thickness), a drill and a jigsaw. Turned out fine if a little wonky. When u put the wheel in it doesn't matter, as long as the wheel is held securely and generally straight. Made it loads easier. Hardest part was filling a nipple driver out of an old screw driver, but that turned out good too in the end.
Pleased with how my new wheels turned out for my CAAD5 track. Long overdue upgrade.
DT Swiss R460 onto some Chinese front hub and Tensile double fixed rear.
Also pleased with my DIY trueing stand.
