• OK cool, I'll just stick with the 11-32.

I don't want to cause a fuss, this branch of Evans did me a favour and ordered in the bike and held it for me until I had my C2W voucher come through even though they're not supposed to with ex-demo/shop-soiled bikes.

I just thought it was weird that nobody picked up on it or mentioned it to me at any point during handover or 6 week service, the only thing that was noted as being "not to spec" was the Mavic Aksium rear wheel instead of the OEM rear wheel.

  • Not necessary making a fuss, feedback are useful to enable people to improve their customer service and the like, hence a polite email would sufficient (to be honest, it’s rare to get polite email!)

As you said only the rear wheel is not to spec, then that mean the cassette should be to spec, you can says that you’re simply not aware that cassette isn’t to spec either as it wasn’t mentioned in the first place, especially if they complete a Workmanship guarantee card that the bike is safe to ride and have been m-check by another mechanic.

To me, this is a big fuck up.
