Posting in here rather than start a new thread.
I have a nice handmade cycling cap that I'm worried about bunging in the washing machine, problem is, handwashing it aint getting rid of the stink.
Last time I tried hand washing it with laundry detergent and a bit of that dettol clothes disinfectant/anti bacterial stuff but the stench still came back after just a few rides.
Maybe I should just buy another one (I have a large head and Smith of London are the only one I've found to fit my head well) and rotate them a bit, maybe I'm trying to get too long out of it.
