@mashton just popped by to collect some tyres and charmed me into riding on Sunday. Be good to see y’all again.
Will be my first forum ride in a couples of years of almost no riding beyond touring and the occasional commute. I imagine there will be chafing, sore knees and possibly some walking. Are we talking amiable social pace or will the be excessive effort involved(aside from the hills)?

Café Van Gogh gets very good reviews--a little way up the road and only seems to open at 9, though. (I've never been there.)
