Really good rack imo. I've wald basket on it for that #rackandbasketlyfe and have run it with small front panniers for touring.
Be aware that if you have a very wide fork like a rigid mtb or similar the panniers might rub a bit on the forks legs. -

Cheers guys, was just trying to evidence the strength of the pelago ha... It’s a good bit of kit, and there may be something in the pipeline to work with the restrap rando as well.

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Readers Cross-Check, with a mullet. Quite functional and hopefully not anti.
Pedalroom link. Also, helped a friend building this GT beater. Trying to convince him to get a Wald for max functionality. Would like it even better if he put a black saddle on it, tho'.

Don't worry, once he's left it out in the rain a couple of times the Brooks will sag and chafe like sandpaper. He'll soon get rid.
-

My oldest Brooks is 18 years, no chafing yet...
I can’t count, I meant 28. -
• #18363
What kind of monster lets their Brooks get wet?

I always sucked at remembering to put a plastic bag on.

I'll never get why someone would lace the rims in that orientation, looking at the logos.

Someone told me it originated from racing on the contintent - cycling on the left hand side of the road, spectators were most likely to be looking at you/closest to you from the non-drive side.
I prefer them readable from DS, but I believe readable from NDS is what’s “classically correct”.

It is readable from the drive side ... when the valves are at the bottom (normal for tarty bike photography I think).
-
• #18370
Valves at the top or why are you even bothering.
-
• #18371
Tell that to H+ and his son!

Has anyone got a Pelago front rack working with 12mm thru axels?
-
• #18373
Is that some rear dynamo wizardry?

What's the name of those flashy fluoro straps that has been seen on Radavist, and where do I buy them online?
-

Voile straps
I can’t think of a higher commendation.
Gongrats!
