Bigger wheels/tyres would help slightly with the revs. Do you really care though, are you foreseeing long m-way drives? In general my armchair advice would be get it driving first then make your own assessment.
I need 5 new tyres before I get it back on the road, so need to make a decision sooner rather than later.
It will be a daily driver, and will run up and down the dual carriageway quite regularly. I'd prefer it to be comfortable on the motorway- will help the mpgs too!
