Oh, and What the Pitta! have a Camden shop now (which seems to have lost the exclamation mark), in Bayham Street:

Only ever been to the Brighton one, and it's in my top 3 restaurants. Soon.

Just had a Kamalive Cashew Cream Egg. Vegan, gluten free, no soy or refined sugar.
My reaction to the first bite was 'Fuck! What have I done to deserve this?'

Sounds as if you came alive there. :)

Cheers!
..broccoli, huh? Who would've thought.

I made the schoolboy error of drifting into the comments.
-

Sorry to hear that. This is where switching off Javascript comes in very handy, I find, because it means the comments aren't displayed, and you're generally not tempted to make them appear.

Not a particularly great article, but I thought the measurement of suffering in types of animal based foods for people reducing their meat/dairy intake was interesting.

We went to Feed the Soul in Godmanstone just outside Dorchester, second time we've been, their food is amazing. If you're down in the SW definitely worth a visit. Tues - Sat 9.30 - 5 only.

Went back to the land of my fathers over Easter and went here on Good Friday:
http://www.anna-loka.com/Great food, hipster/hippy decor, super relaxed atmosphere, take your own booze, open kitchen with a bank of fridge/freezers between two seating areas...
Saw a chef walking to one of the freezers with a ton of tupperware, one of them labeled GF SHIT, assume this was Gluten Free SHIT... :)
Will be definitely be going back!

I always go for the comments... just to read the same ol boring meat VS vegan argument... it makes me glow inside ;)

Yes, defo go here if you're in Dorset... Feed The Soul is a very good shout!
You local? Also good in Dorset for veg/vegan food is Tierra Kitchen in Lyme Regis. Amazing food, our favourite restaurant over here

Thanks for the Lyme Regis recommendation. I'll check it out when we come for the fossil festival.

Ideal! Might be worth booking in advance, it’s only a small place and that’s normally a busy weekend.

Also have tasty recipes online
We use wakame seaweed and a bit of miso to add fish (sea?) flavor and umami.
The rest of the ingredients you can take from your favorite version.
Of course topped by cashew/yeast Parmesan.
