Guido Fawkes again being treated like an impartial, legitimate news source by the BBC is worrying as well.

Is there a proper way of complaining about that to them?

Really? The Today programme made it perfectly clear that Guido Fawkes has an agenda and also cited numerous other sources of Corbyn being at the event - mainly people who were also there.

But why include him as a source at all? The bits I heard, admittedly while I was in the shower (sorry everyone) played up the narrative that his attendance was, and this is GFs take on the matter, a cynical move to upset more credible Jewish organisations. A view expanded upon by the two studio guests.

One of the studio guests I heard was Jon Lansman, who was obviously very supportive of him. And the article on the BBC website is reasonably balanced. I'm not defending the BBC, I just don't see anything "worrying".

I think the story was "broken" by GF.

So reference to him is logical. However, I'm not sure what the story here is.

This pretty much encapsulates my view (or lack of it) on the actual matter;

I just read the BBC report. I must say the response here is much more measured. The conclusion really does seem to be "JC did something wrong re: Jews again." I'm not going on Twitter to see what they have to say. There are more fun ways of ruining my day.

The worrying thing is using an overtly bigoted and agenda'd source which contextualises and steers the narrative in a way that could have been avoided by just simply not engaging and giving the source a platform.

I think its because he attended a left wing group event, instead of spending the evening getting cunted off by a right wing one. I think?

As clinical (cynical?) as it sounds, when you want to lead, you have to have a sense of what things look like, not just what they are. The group in question seems to be a bunch of irreviant satirist pranksters, poking fun at the 'jewish establishment' - which is kinda cool and I bet they are good craic, but hanging out with them when embroiled in accusations of leading a party that has problems with anti semitism seems to be a bit....like dicking about.

Again, why?

Because it his first meeting with a Jewish group since the protest.

(although my understanding was he'd been refused a meeting with the protest groups until a set of conditions had been met)

Why should hanging out with a Jewish organization when embroiled in claims of antisemitism be anything other than a positive thing?

Also, do we know the responses from the The Jewish Leadership Council and Board of Deputies of British Jews? We do know he immediately asked to meet with them.
