I think the story was "broken" by GF.
So reference to him is logical. However, I'm not sure what the story here is.
This pretty much encapsulates my view (or lack of it) on the actual matter;
“It is not for non-Jewish people, in criticising Corbyn’s attendance, to determine what is and isn’t a legitimate expression of the Jewish faith."
But why include him as a source at all? The bits I heard, admittedly while I was in the shower (sorry everyone) played up the narrative that his attendance was, and this is GFs take on the matter, a cynical move to upset more credible Jewish organisations. A view expanded upon by the two studio guests.
