physically more suited to stage racing
I know that he's very aware of that and that's why he went to race in Belgium in the first place - to work on that weakness and become a stronger all rounder. He has talked about this in interviews but don't ask me where...

Terpstra, Boonen, Vandenbergh, Flecha in 2012?
-
• #15858
Please elaborate

It's Stannard's second Omloop win, hence the number 1.
Stannard won because a) he was the freshest, having been sat on for around 30 km; and b) it was really Terpstra vs Boonen.

Jan Staanard will defeat the Quickstepz. Possibly.

Thank you! I knew the kit was wrong for 2012, but couldn’t place the photo. Also, number 1 should have been a good enough clue.
I’m calling Vanmarcke to break his duck and win in Roubaix.

He personally continually has shit luck and has joined a team with shit luck whose riders also individually have had alot of shit luck. Apart from Rigo who is also a bit of a dick.
And the state of their hair

Rapha Race Radio is not shit. Less VHS filters and it would be good.
-
• #15865
Nice idea, though I didn't really give it a chance after he said Woot van Airt (ffs) and wolfpack.
-
• #15866
it was really Terpstra vs Boonen
... and the latter now says in every interview that Terpstra is 'the best teammate he ever had' ;-) with Lefevere chiming in that the Dutchman 'has always followed team orders'... we'll never know until Terpstra writes his memoirs. And maybe not even then.

thnx, that just about sums it up... "There’s no second thought to ‘what about Tom?’ "
-
• #15872
Woot van Airt's probably not happy with that
-
• #15873
He always runs mechanical.

FFS. Send the locals out with hosepipes I say.
Hopefully it’ll be wet for the TdF stage again. Seeing 55kg climbers on wet cobbles is pure entertainment.

How do you pronounce Woot van Airt?
He’s been pretty instrumental for QS this classics season so far I’d say. Granted he’s not won but he’s pretty much shut every counter attack down and was in the Sagan attack that sat up.
