I generally quite like the bands that play on Broadway Market on a Saturday, when the market is on and the street is really busy. They’re usually in that same little junction just next to the Dove so they don’t block the thoroughfare.
Toward the end of last year there was a guy making some amazing ambient soundscapey stuff with just a guitar and a reverb unit. I bought a CD.
