it was really Terpstra vs Boonen
... and the latter now says in every interview that Terpstra is 'the best teammate he ever had' ;-) with Lefevere chiming in that the Dutchman 'has always followed team orders'... we'll never know until Terpstra writes his memoirs. And maybe not even then.

Every single teammate Terpstra has seems to like him, I've not seen a bad quote from any of his team.
Seems to be a bit of Michael Schumacher - fiercely competitive, generally disliked, thinks quite a lot of himself (though does back it up [not warrant it mind]), but if you're "in" with him, he'll do whatever you need him to do.

It's Stannard's second Omloop win, hence the number 1.
Stannard won because a) he was the freshest, having been sat on for around 30 km; and b) it was really Terpstra vs Boonen.
