That looks a lovely bike! Beautiful condition. I am in the process of rebuilding a 1947 Hobbs of Barbican Superbe for Eroica Britannia this year but it may not be finished in time. If it isn't ready then I'll be riding my Hobbs of Barbican Raceweight as below. I will be very jealous of all your gears!
Don't ride it on those skinny tyres though, not if it's the same route as last year and you want to get round without destroying your rims/tyres/backside& knees.
Some of the route is rather bumpy to say the least....
I did ride it last year but not with those tyres/wheels. I'm sure I read that the routes have been altered this year after complaints last year. I hope so as my other Hobbs will have similar wheels albeit with slightly wider tyres, if I manage to finish it in time.
