So alldone and dusted! What an epic ride! A few footnotes.
Gearing was fine, but nobody got up the muur due to fallers in front
All bikes survived and actually were among the fastest on the flat/descent cobble sectors!
The cx had a tubeless setup so psi was dropped to 25psi! It was incredible up the bergs. The other two bikes ran on 55psi
We all rode together until the final 35 km and then went full gas to see who was really the strongest. This route exactly follows the final 35km of the pro race. The CX dropped the road bikes immediately on Kruisberg and the trek got at gap on the rossin on hotond. We all stayed separate over the Kwaremont and Paterberg, but on the 12km smash to the finish, the CX ran out of gears. The trek overtook with 1 km to go, with the CX hanging on to second. And the rossin a couple minutes back. All in all a superb ride.
