  • Why would you want to put batmobile seats in your sober porsche?

  • That returns a HTTP 525, SSL handshake failed.

This is OK... it will be fixed, I'll raise internal tickets for it. And if it doesn't get fixed, I'll remove the experiment.

  • Why would you want to put batmobile seats in your sober porsche?

So I can see the dials! I'm not making this up.

  • Haha okay. I like that its a driving machine first and foremost but there has to be some middle ground here .) The 993 seats u posted on the last page are so far easily the best imo. Yet a bit to sporty for it to be just right.

  • These are the seats in the car:

  • Spacious car!

  • I'd be thinking of fitting something that looks like this, but silver rather than white:

  • Just me or baby seat?

  • I like that seat tho its almost bit retro (in my eyes with limited knowledge in car seats). But i do like that as its bit more nimble and most importantly gets bit narrow in the neck/head area instead of the gt3 dracula cape look

  • I think it's just a slightly more exaggerated version of the stock seat. Ish.

  • If those bucket seats are like the ones in a 993 rs they are narrow. And I mean narrow for my 180cm 60kg.
I wouldn't want the restricted shoulder feeling in a car that's not only for track and getting there.

  • From what I can tell the 993 RS buckets are very close to being a Recaro Pole Position, I'd be looking at a Recaro SPG - mainly due to height, but this is all based on a bit of Googling on the train, not sitting in any of them.

  • My car will roll out with SPG seats in it when it's done

  • I'm tempted to go for miss-matching seats, as peculiarly that doesn't trouble my OCD but it'll drive a lot of other people bananas.

The Pole Position ABE's look to be designed to work with inertia reel belts- I imagine the SPG can be used with same?

  • As long as you can see the needle is pointing roughly straight up it's all working. Is that possible?

  • No. Lets see if I can post this photo:

911 cluster on the bottom, the whole top part is obscured, so I can see it revving to ~1,800, and then from ~6,200

  • I found a picture I took trying to show the problem:

  • I’ve never used anything but harnesses with any I’ve had in the past, but the SPG does say it’s compatible with harnesses where as the ABE does say it does inertia reel

  • MERCEDES-BENZ300 SLR1955

  • Hey, @dammit, why not change the steering wheel?

    (Sorry)

  • Elaborate set of mirrors will fix that.

  • Would look messy, what it needs is a custom lowered/raised dash console.
