Still not convinced, I haul my sorry backside up some 15+% gradients on an 82GI during my commute using Eggbeaters, so put a lot of torque through them, and they hold up just fine.
Whatever works though. My only minor issue with CB’s is that the new once’s don’t have pedal spanner options to remove them, only Allen keys. I still use old ones though so not a massive issue for me :)

But you and @andyp are delicate waifs. Your opinion on kit does not apply to the vast majority of overbuilt cyclists.
