Whether it makes a significant (measureable) difference is another thing, it will make a difference if enough people think the same way.
Personally, giro make shit shoes with shit laces so they don't get my money because of that.
For that reason I'm never going to a hospital again, as long as the nhs continues to employ you. I don't care how sick I get.
