Apparently he used to 'dj' at village halls with US import 78's in the late '50's he used to buy from record stores when they were fresh off the boat. I don't think he ever rocked beards. Maybe he was hip, but we were never close... funny how things spark memories :/

That's just weird art fashion photography stuff tho innit? The people in them are models dressed up that way, rather than hipsters who would actually wear the stuff.

We had a "fashion pixie" tutor on foundation course, she dressed like that, anything bandwaggony, she was on it like a tramp on a packet of chips. Worse than Jo Whiley's hipster buzzword peppered conversations.
