  • Yes, inefficient. Last time I tried to get an appointment with an NHS doctor, they gave me one the following week during working hours. Instead, I paid £85 for a private doctor and was in and out of there with antibiotics in 5 minutes.

  • I don’t think you understand what efficiency is and if I understand you correctly you solved the problem by throwing money at it (equivalent wage of £1020/hr) and hiring another doctor.

  • 'Inefficient' because it's been cut to the fucking bone by the Tories, because the NHS is inherently socialist and they disagree with it on ideological grounds, and therefore want to get rid of it even though it is actually bloody good at what it does (see graphic above, or multiple commonwealth fund reports).
    Inb4 you start bleating on about private-market based healthcare somehow being more efficient, take a look at America which spends nearly $2,000 per capita on healthcare compared to similar countries and gets... worse outcomes.
    Try harder.

  • Hope you paid free market price for the antibiotics rather than the NHS subsidised price of a prescription.
