Well the middle layer was a Gore Windstopper and I had a Gore shell over the top of that, but if goretex is meant to be breathable then mine has asthma. It’s fucking useless in anything more than light rain. Time for a new one.
Can't you do some magic re-treating? Either chemicals or washing them at a certain temp?
I’ve tried reproofing it several times to no avail. I just think it’s either had it or it was never that good in the first place.
