Sort of, yes.
There's a centuries old history of conspiracy theories tying international finance to melevelant groups/forces - usually comprising of Jews and Freemasons. More recently this is seems to be bound up with the illuminati, and... I guess neo-Christian(?) devil related stuff, mainly from the US.

Seperately - is the idea that the world is controlled by a load of rich bastards a dogwhistle anti-semitism thing and I just never got it?
