Who has experience of Pelago front racks? Worth it or is a better alternative around at a cheaper price?

Who has experience of Pelago front racks?
I like them. Pretty good stuff for the price. Only downside I sometimes hear is the narrow horizontal bars for panniers, but they work well with my Ortliebs (which have adjustable mounts).
I have the 'large', with the widest platform. Fully loaded (around 15kg):

Heavy but strong,
had to bend the strut that goes from the steering column to the top rear middle of the platform.
To get the two 90 degrees angle I had to resort to a visit to the mechanic's workshop, 5kg hammer and massive vice needed.
Went up to 20kg loaded on top with a water container on a bumpy track, no flex.
Crashed heavily twice at speed no rust on the sliding areas. -

Have we had this yet? It's the 2018 Bombtrack Arise tour:
It tick all the right boxes for an ideal Commutourer for me... Good dynohub and light, tubus racks, up to 40c clearance (not that I would go that far)...
Any reason I shouldn't buy this?
Other candidates were Equilibirum, Tour De Fer, Croix De Fer, Kona Wheelhouse which would almost systematically require a Dynohub wheelset purchase. -

My orange Vaya, I seem to have lost my front mud flap somewhere along the way. I may replace the Ritchey cranks with some old black Shimano Exage 400lx ones at some point when I run out of things to do.

Why replace the Ritchey?
-
• #18346
Extra 2,5 mm's in length, and a need for excuses not to work on my final thesis.
-
• #18347
Never mind, work on your thesis!
The Ritchey is so much nicer, narrower q and I bet you'd hardly notice the different crank length. -

Pelago racks are great. Theyβre rated to 15kg but Iβve carried my 55kg fiancΓ© on it and it was fine. Iβve also toured extensively with it heavily loaded (including rad/rough riding) The pannier mounting bars are indeed narrow but work perfectly with my Ortlieb panniers. I also find them at an ideal height, minimal issues with panniers catching on stuff when off road.
Having tried numerous porteur racks and researched many more, the pelago is the one I would recommend.
