Thanks for that, much appreciated. This is all presuming the seller gets back to me, haven't had much luck recently so not holding out much hope. Thanks again

Some forks are not too difficult to work on.
Lefties are not those forks ;)

Set of new WTB disc hubs, 28h, 430g, for £60 - not sure if they're 10 or 11 speed though. Seems like a good deal to me. Pair up with some of those £10 PlanetX rims and you can build a set of 1600-1700g wheels for £100.
Or wait until tomorrow and buy some Novatec D791/2 off AliExpress for £58.

I wasn’t being serious :)
Did you get the lefty?

Unfortunately not, as half expected. Sent the seller a message, no reply now the advert has disappeared :(

Mee 2.
At least he managed a reply; "sold it to a mate".
Let's face it, we'd have been robbing him - not that such issues have stoped me before ;-)Well spotted MCamb, keep up the good work !

Ah, didn't realize you are replying to me...it's 20 pounds which would still make an excellent beater, commuter etc..sorry i upset you..

But have to agree that its probably not a “nice“ frame, more a nice cheap frame..maybe its even crap, still liked it when i first saw it..

Just met the seller to check this out but the frame is too big for my husband. Seller totally messed up the description, it is a Cyrus Dutch bike not a Raleigh mission, and it is not a 26" frame. The Frame is about 23 inches, maybe 22.5, and the wheels are I think the standard 622 size (so 700/28/29 depending on whether you are selling a road bike, Dutch bike or mtb) .
It is a low end Dutch bike (ie Rim brakes and bottle dynamo not hub) but is in nice condition. We didn't get as far as a test ride but assuming the gears are good this would be a nice buy for someone looking for an upright Dutch type bike. If the frame had fit we would have totally bought it.

ETA: also, it's not in Enfield, it's in Stoke Newington.

Nobody needs a racing trike but everybody needs a racing trike. A nice one at that.

Depends if it’s utterly fucked or not
Ask them if the lock out works without play or knocking, that it holds a constant air pressure, that it looks good under the boot...
