don’t reckon they’d need to be that waterproof, if your mudguards offer enough coverage. Just don’t stop and rest your foot in a puddle :)
The whole point of the shoes is to have a pair of SPD Trainers that I can cycle and walk in, without looking like I'm wearing cycling shoes. If there are puddles...
My Freddie Grubb is currently having mud guards fettled on to it by the nice men in Herne Hill Bicycles.
My worry now is the shoes that I made to ride it with yesterday:
I'm not sure that cutting holes in the soles of a pair of converse with a Swiss army knife, then stuffing in old Sidi soles with a thin in-sole on top will be totally water proof.
