My Hirame is Ishiwata 022 made by Kuwahara, it's very similar. I think they branded them as Kuwaharas in territories where that name was an attraction.
I've been doing some exploring and the jury is out if the bosses will fit on a downtube shifter clamp stork. I didn't see a reason why not but people have been setting me straight left right and centre. But they should, shouldn't they? How much would you be asking?
As far as I can see , it should work. On balance, if it was my bike I think I'd go with Jtek , but you can have the SL-1055 levers for £10 if you want to try them.

To be honest I know naff all about it other than they made the BMX in E.T. seems to be a fairly nice budget frame though.
