His race results might have, but maybe his pay hasn't. It really depends on what you're after in the sport. He might just love racing and doing his bit for the team with a good pay rather than adding stress of going for wins. Maybe he knows he doesn't have what it takes. Maybe he's going to be like Hayman and race everything for years and then bust out a stunning late-career victory? I don't really pay attention to his racing so I'm not actually sure what he's been doing. Was he injured or anything?
Just saying his potential as a good classics rider is being stymied at the moment, and his career has gone backwards since 2015. He is capable of winning one day classics.
And I doubt it, ASO say they will not allow him to start, innit?
