When is the 20% discount applied? Prices seem the same as on their website.
-
• #3380
Not sure, the checkout I assume
-

Hah, typical.
But yeah, prices seem no different, and I didn't spot a discount code.

I put the Arkose in basket, just to see, and got up to the payment page and it was still listed at £450. Must be missing something but didn't see any codes. shrugs Not like I was going to buy an Arkose or anything...

Apparently there's a 1x11 version of the Genesis Fugio coming in July.

Best reasonably priced double sided spd pedals? So spd on one side, platform on the other. Figured this was a good place to ask

Anything wrong with Shimano PD-A530? Other than the aesthetics I guess.

You could have these in orange for an absurdly cheap price

The Evans 20% Ebay discount is now working on most items

How absurd? They'd clash pretty horribly with my yellowyorange surly
@Howard I don't know! It's a shame they don't come in black. I had some lifelines, which were okay but I always felt the stack was lower on the flat side so not quite comfortable in casual shoes, then moved to some boat anchor double sided combos which are cool and red and all but probably weigh over a kilogram for the pair.

You can get them in black.
But yes I’m with you on the stack height thing.
-
• #3391
Well a good £12-£17 cheaper than the other colours at £48, but it's a pretty good deal on the rest of them if you want a proper mtb flat on the other side.

I want a black pair, too. Have some in silver but now I have a bike that's all black they look weirder than they usually do.

My Pickenlick finally arrived and I just assembled everything (brakes switched to HyRD from old bike and new wheels mounted immediately), tomorrow first ride :)
Does the raw titanium frame require any protection from cable rub? Should I mount some protective stickers or it won't be damaged by it anyway?
-
• #3396
It will over time, so some protective patches will prevent it.

So I've got a SS Arkose that I'm looking to convert to geared. Any advice on best way to do this? Was thinking 1x with bar end shifter so I don't have to replace the existing brake levers.
Also, the mounts on the forks - can you use them for racks or are they just for mudguards.
This is the bike:

Had the same bike. Did the same thing. Mounts are pretty much for mudguards only.
I went with the gevanelle upgrade system for the shifters. Spendy and a bit marmite. We're I to do it again would go barend.
You'll also need to get a different hanger.

finding a store on fleabay is one of the most infuriating things i've ever experienced
