To be fair, no reason why the harrumphing woman deserved the seat more than you, right?
I watched a harrumphing woman give up her seat and berate the mid 20s bloke next to her for not doing so first. He took it all without any comeback and an uneasy silence followed. A few stops later another "baby on board" badge wearer gets on (with a buggy too) and this time he does give up his seat after getting up a bit gingerly. The pregnant woman says she'll be fine standing but the bloke insists on her having his seat. Harrumphing woman is looking super smug at this point.
Coming in to the next station the train slows and the buggy swings into the back of the bloke's leg. Pregnant woman apologises and asks if he's ok. With a smile the bloke lifts up his trouser leg to show a prosthetic leg; "I'm fine! I don't feel any pain in this."
Harrumphing woman now looking aghast.
