Bellman stovetop milk steamer was what @StevePeel recommended IIRC (at least that's what's in my saved searches). I was sorely tempted, but I decided £60-70 was a bit much for me to splash on a whim, especially as I don't drink that much coffee...

I'm also in the market for something in this range or maybe slightly more.
I guess the question is: get a Rancilio Silvia for £440 odd, or go for something a bit more pricey.

What was the portable (?) steamer posted a while back - someone said they were easy to pick up on eBay. There's a prettier looking freestanding Dualit one I saw - any first hand experience?
And in other news - what's a solid espresso machine in the 500-1000 range? I've been quite happy with a stove top but wonder if I was going to get a steamer (especially a fancier one) I'd be better served getting an all in one?
