Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my bike... I have a Colnago but to be honest I'm not sure which model it is!
If anyone could help that would be great, thanks!!

Looks lovely. Good job

63 seat tube I believe! That photograph is somewhat skewed though - makes the proportions look a little odd.

I’m 6”3 and it’s a good fit! Any ideas on what type it is? Ha

Looks like one off the lower models but still a colnago welcome to the club.

Well thank you! It will be a short stay though as she’ll be for sale soon!

With the exception of level saddle and drop quill an inch - any other last minute adjustments/advice before she goes up for sale?

I'd say stick your pedals on, then say pedals not included, I think theres something psychological about seeing a bike with no pedals. Then of course theres the smallest cog, biggest ring for the pictures.

I think thats a world of pain, just to get refinished, plus you don't know if any of that rust is on the inside. Particularly with thin custom extruded tubes, I'd steer clear, or get it for beer money and take a chance once its blasted. It looks like its had a very tough life. Then of course you have to ask the question, will the seatpost, stem and bottom bracket even want to come out. The straight forks will be right, its a Colnago thing on some models. Think it's called Precisa.

Straight forks, Prescia forks as @BernardRenault rightly says, we’re standard after 1987 I think.
The rust looks superficial from the photo, but it’s very easy for it to go through the tube on thin tubes like those used on the Master. If the vendor is not asking much it might be worth a punt as a restoration project, but if they want decent money for it I’d give it a miss.

The Master Piu was a version of the Master, from the early 90s I think. Colnago were using the Master Olympic name but had to stop under pressure from the IOC.

Mastet Piu came before Olympic. "Piu" is Italian for "more". As far as I know, the difference between a Master and a Master Piu was that the Piu had chromed seatstays and internal cable routing, where early Masters only had chromed chainstays and external cable routing.
About that frame here above: check chromed parts. If these have rustspots too, stay away from it. Rechroming costs 5-600 € or more around here. And thzt is on the cheap end of the spectrum...

Indeed, I thought it looks destined for plain enamel if it's saveable.
