For me, the message being sent out from Lehman & co in the dressing room to hide the evidence and then the pathetic attempt by Smith and Bancroft to lie to and con the umpires after being found out was worse than the tampering.
Though it probably says something about my opinion of Smith hat I was surprised he didn't at least try to chuck Bancroft under the bus to take the rap on his own.
