  • @Howard - no need to haul on it. Threads will take over 10Nm but shouldn't need any more. Threadlock no, plenty of grease/copperslip yes - galvanic corrosion risk down there.

  • Great thanks. They were pretty dry from the shop so gave them some good grease and torqued them up to 10Nm.

  • are you supposed to grease the bb shell when installing an ebb?
    or just the faces of moving parts / threads?

    i just took mine out and cleaned it up following a chainring change, but found contradictory info.
    (this was on an alu frame charge plug - spec printed on the ebb was 6.75 Nm for the wedge bolt - bolt had threadlock on)
