I bought a Miche 11-21 off eBay. There's one where you tell him what you wants and he provides all the sprockets and spacers. Was something like £20.

That's like £100 cheaper than my DA cassette. Damn. How does it run?

But but... The number of variables...

Edit - £26 posted. Only used on the turbo. Runs fine (but I now use friction shifting...).
Each sprocket is individual, so make sure you either have a steel freehub or have an anti-bite guard, and put sufficient torque into the lockring. Can't find it anymore, but it was this seller:

The tubed version is the top tyre in his list so my point stands.
If you want the tubed or tubeless set-up on the wider rim to be faster* than the narrow rim set-up, just inflate to the same pressure :)
*On rollers. Probably not on actual road surfaces.

Also ultegra 11-23, which is straight through enough for me on 11 spd...

So many beers, so little time.

I'm not going to be running tubeless on the TT bike, even if it is faster. I've spent enough on it already.
Should I run my 808FC or the older S80 on the Welsh downhill course?

That might do it. I'd rather use Shimano if possible.
I probably should check the wear on the DA cassette first. Pretty sure I bought a cassette wear checker but I've never used it.

"As you can see, the results are basically identical, with rounding differences in the 5th decimal place of the Crr estimate accounting for the 23W vs. 24W values in the estimated power for a pair of tires."
I didn't quote the Open Pro results as they're not like-for-like. Also note that both Crr and power are estimated, so I'll take the results with a pinch of salt.

I'm not bothered. My point is, there's a tube tyre at the top of that list so I don't feel like I'm missing out by not running tubeless setup. I hate the faff involved and I don't think they're a great idea for high pressure stuff anyway.

Don't forget to go cycling also, to get fit!

I'm probably doing less than normal but I've been on the turbo 3x this week. It's probably why I failed my second 20 in my 2x20s the night before last. Not enough recovery time.

More than I have done.

I always do more than you. #lazystudents
Be nice if it actually made me faster though :)

Figured. Distracted by the fact that while it was being serviced I broke a bunch of records on the old wheel. Annoying.
-
• #17269
Either will do. More importantly, are you coming for a post-event debrief down the pub with the Bynea CC riders?
-
• #17270
Corsa speed won't go onto a jet 9.
Stupid tyre.Broke a valve extender too, and the spit that's sheared off is in the rim.
Never buying vittoria again.

• #17271
You're better off with your 20mm supersonic unless you've upgraded to a Jet+
-
• #17272
That's good to know. Will just buy a new one of them, as mine is worn.
But my front wheel now sounds like a spokey-dokey, ffs.

Is this where I remind everyone never to change their bike setup the day before or the morning of a race?
-
• #17274
The race is this afternoon. :)

What? ;-)
Same and fit my fast drivechain and rewire my Di2 and retape my bars and shit I'll probably need to buy a new cassette too.
Is there a straight block in anything cheaper than Dura Ace?
