It's definitely portly... But again, not an issue for me.
Says the guy with the 20g pump... ;)
(I've still not tried it, yet I've had flats two weekends running!)

That's why the weight of my GPS isn't an issue...because I trim the fat elsewhere! :)

On the Wahoo Bolt...
I want he power data field to display as white on black background.
I’ve set the LEDs to show power zone, what power data field am I meant to choose? All the options. Seen pictures. No idea what I’m doing wrong.

Just testing a link to the Bolt: https://uk.wahoofitness.com/devices/bike-computers/gps-elemnt-bolt

I dunno why I chose the Bolt, I prefer the Elemnt itself.
Anyhow, in theory... affiliates now work for Wahoo but only on LFGSS.

To answer my own question on post #929...
Wahoo support said that only the 'powerzone' data field would invert to black when LEDs indicate power. Since the update earlier in the week any power data field on my Bolt will invert to black.Great product. Don't miss the old Garmin.

Could get expensive buying more maps - it looks like you only get 6 1:25k maps for free, and the 1:250k base map won't be much use for, well, anything.
-
• #935
Yes 6 maps will just about take you from London to Brighton. Have asked customer service if garmin format maps can be used on the devices. Waits expectantly !!!!!
-
• #936
Are you buying one?
-
• #937
I already have one (the Elemnt, not the Bolt).
Although a Karoo recently arrived, it's the Elemnt I used most days.
-
• #938
Any positive Karoo reviews?

I've been using mine as a paperweight for the last 2 weeks. Bloody good at that job, albeit a bit pricey. Actually working as a cycling computer seems a bit less marvellous. Spends most of its time downloading new firmware.

Could a kind soul measure the offset of a K-Edge Mount clamp edge to the centre of the cradle?
Mildly bothered that the stock Wahoo Bolt Mount doesn’t align with the centre of my stem and looking for a replacement.

This has probably been answered before but I am lazy... what's the best combination of kit computer thingo + service for routing/turn by turn directions?
Edge 520 vs Element
and
RWGPS , Strava, Kopoo or whatever it's called? -
• #942
Right , my 1000 has arrived. About 10,000 x better than the Edge Touring that it's replacing.
Anyway, I need a HRM as I've never borthered previously.
Anyone see anything wrong with the one I'm linking below? Seems great value for £18.99 or am I missing something?

It's one of the older verisons, I have similar and it works well. Needs a little bit of moisture/sweat to be accurate but fairly sure that is the same for all of them.
-
• #944
Sweet! Going to order one now!
-
• #945
Much more reliable because you can't kill it with sweat.
-
• #946
Get a polar soft strap. Much better. I’d guess the 1000 can pair with anything so it doesn’t matter if it’s BT or Ant+

WAHOO
Going to get one. Does the element do more than the bolt? Or is the bolt do all the same.
-
• #948
All the same - you might want to find out which has the loudest navigation beeps, cuz' of ur fast pace.
-
• #949
bigger battery on the elmnt I think

Will you be using it for TCR?
Still waiting for mine. Not even a shipping email...
