Easier if you can raid the volvo parts bin to make things fit. Volvotips website is interesting read, if you are that way inclined.
I wish that volvo stuck with rear wheel drive, the odd thing is looking how the volvo estates were designed compared to everything else, especially ford estates. Then ford took over and stole all the little volvo sensible touches such as the trigger to unhook the rear seat base and fold the rear seats down. The volvo felt very natural positioning and action.
