Fucksake.
Tried everything. 3 drill bits later and it's still not coming out.
Any thoughts?

A fourth drill bit.

Dremel the cleat in half and get the cleat off, you should be about to get the bolts off afterwards.

Bin the shoe

Try a screw extractor - they have a reversed thread, so as they cut into the bolt head they should eventually bite and start to untwist it.

Buy a decent drill bit. Seriously. It shouldn't be that bad.

Yes! Found a solution.
Get drunk and hammer an Allen key into what remained of the bolt.
I think the rum made me less worried about fucking up the shoe.

This works well with ATAC cleats that have been walked on and the allen key hole gets crushed. If the screw is stuck fast I've always just sawed through the cleat and bolt then used a flat head screwdriver to get it out.

I read somewhere to use arlildyte and glue the Allen key into the rounded bolt to achieve traction.
Needless to day this only made matters worse...
Ended up using a drill bit just smaller than the bolt. I then slowly increased the size of the rounded bolt hole above the thread of bolt until It broke off.
Hey presto the shoes and threads were in perfect condition and drilling saved the day despite my stupid glue antics.. -

ace advice, just got mine out with this method after sawing a hole through the cleat, then trying a screwdriver, then the screwdriver mashing up the saw cut I made...

Thank you.
Just took out all my cleat bolts and greased them. Luckily only one rounded off and I managed to get it out as it was also slotted for a screwdriver. Thanks for the heads up.
