Yeah, Oris Sixty Five is really nice and can be had cheap on the grey market. Nomos is stocked in Selfridges. Have definitely seen them in Watches of Switzerland too. Selfridges have a variety of their models, WoS only have the more premium models. Selfridges ones are in the basement opposite the wine shop with the 'cheaper' watches, rather than the watch room.

Maybe - let me see once it arrives. I have the other bracelet from my non-pepsi, broken 0040, but I use the endlinks on my DJ.

Almost everything you've mentioned enhances the symmetry.

fuck, I thought I lost my watch on the weekend (at goodwood). looked everywhere - no dice. sent my pal back to the house we stayed in (3 hrs). no dice. started the story in my head of how I'd tell the mrs that I lost my wedding present...
thought I would have one more look - BOOM! I didn't even put the cunt on! the mrs moved it as she thought I deliberately didn't wear it...
a little bit of poo tried to come out, but then went back in.
now to try and break the news to my mate

He won't remember but I'll happily recall the first time he noticed the second hand sweeping.

I've got a manual with a strange issue. Winding doesn't seem to actually wind the spring - There's little-to no resistance. With the crown at position 1, while putting a little bit of resistance on the crown (as-in moving the hands forward) the second hand starts to tick along.
Crown issue?
It's not an expensive watch, so am willing to play around inside. Is there a troubleshooting/diagnostic type checklist I can follow?

When you try to wind it, is there any sensation at all? Something like a slipping feeling or clicks?
Could be a rounded stem...
-
• #26595
When I try to wind you can hear/feel a very faint clicking, as you would when you normally wind (but much louder)

Open the back and check if the ratchet wheel is turning as you rotate the crown. If it is, then it’s likely a faulty mainspring.
