Wouldn't this be an issue, when you turn the bars, as the front brake cableholder is fixed on the stem, that will turn together with the stem and bars. Or am I missing something?

As long as the brakes are attached to the forks it should be ok.

My point was that that sentence made no sense, non whatsoever. More so when you consider that the hanger is clearly built into the stem and will turn with the bars.

Yes, when you turn the bars to right you put on the brakes. However when you turn left you engage turbo mode.
