@märk_321 I just noticed, your thread... I think we are going to be ride buddies :-P
This is my thread in case you want to get some ideas https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/308921/ and it's based on the "2017". It looks like we will be soon able to claim we own the last cinelli/mash frame ever built :-)Thanks, will check your build :)
P.S looks that you have same frame; why you thinking it's "2017"? -

Got Omnium crankset for 135eur shipped from German Amazon :)

I do like the look of sugino more, but the Omnium is still a great choice, well done.

Got and installed (for test) Sram Apex front brake - still thinking that white is nicer than black:
Any idea what tension to use to tighten the bolt (fork is carbon with aluminium steerer)?
-
• #39
I agree, white is definitely better, I might think to get mine painted coated. About the torque I'm not sure unfortunately. Doesn't the break manual say it?
-
• #40
Almost there...
-
• #41
Yup, getting there... well done. I see you went for bullhorn, not a bad choice. I have to post some photos of mine... I tweeked it a little bit, basically flipped the stem to lower it and I also adjusted the handle bar a bit because is wans't exactly level. Nothing major though.

Installed rim tapes today and discovered that you can use old inner tub valve as installation “plug” ;)
Destickered wheelset also! -

I tried install fork crown race with DIY tool (plastic pipe) but no luck :(
What I’m doing wrong... -
• #46
it's called the black forest
-
• #47
Not hitting it hard enough?
Just push it on mostly and put your fork in the frame, tighten down the top cap with your stem fitted, usually seats the crown race itself -
• #48
Hitted quite hard...
I try to lend proper tool.
You'll use a lot of spacer on the steerer;)
