When watch sizes are mentioned (36mm Vs 44mm for example)
Where are we measuring? Across the middle? With or without crown? -

Across the middle without crown.

Have you guys seen that Omega have announced an update to the Seamaster?

Quite interested to see how they look and feel in real life.

Basel pieces announced. Tudor still flogging black bay to death . Meanwhile over at Rolex they have caused all our phones to melt with the Steel GMT with Pepsi .......

“I’m not interested in Rolex or Tudor , I’m waiting for grand seiko announcement “ said no one ever.....

Never liked the blue seamasters but the black one is an improvement over the last version.
Still not a massive fan of the bracelet though; the black / gold on rubber strap is interesting...

If it was slightly thinner (and not shit) I'd like to try something like this https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-10-13/chronos-review-should-you-turn-your-old-watch-into-a-smartwatch a disc that goes on the back of your watch to add smart functionality (mainly in terms of vibrating at you)
I'm also a bit surprised there isn't more in the way of smart straps/buckles.

I like the seamaster 1948 and the new blue seamaster diver over at Omega

We get it... you don't like Grand Seikos. I think the horse hasn't only died it's turned into oil.

Love it. Is it me or are some of the screws on the dial out of alignment?

This absolutely shits on that pepsi GMT :)

Finally, a decent Oyster Prince type thing from Tudor, unlike the previous Glamour and Style ranges.

any mention of an updated 36mm black bay? does it have an in house movement?
-
• #26522
A bit like that I guess. The bigger one on the bracelet looks really nice in the flesh.
-
• #26523
I like that a lot more than the Rolex GMT above (not that I can afford either...)

I like the Oris.

Just a blue-dialled version. They’re all on the Tudor website.
The PPI is the most stand out thing about the watch. That and usability/performance.
