I am interested in getting something like these that is a bit narrower and more raised. What are these type of handlebars called and how can I find them? Paloma? Why have I found it hard to find narrower and or more raised ones? Is there a reason for it? Presumably, width is for handling and one would want to be low for aerodynamics rather than high for comfort?

Get some sleep and wake up later with a hot coffee on your side and do some search...;)

I was looking for a similar thread the other day!
Want some new bars for my road bike before I redo the cockpit. I'm after something with a flatter tops so they're comfy, ideally non-ergo compact drop & medium reach. Thinking about Ritchey Comp Streem II, though part of me really wants to take the Integralters off the fixed because they're fun.

I’ve got the WCS Streem on the good bike and the Comp Streem on the every day bike. I like them. Gotta go with thin bartape though, they look very chunky with foam tape.

I'm also looking for flat-topped road bars that clip-on extensions can be fitted to. So far, all I can find are the Giant ones, but OCD is preventing me from putting them on a non-Giant bike.

I'd jump & get them, but I not a super fan of the slight sweep backwards on the top. I know what you mean about the chunkiness though, have mine with CX tape & gel pads, so chunky.

May go for a Zipp Service Course-70 ergo. Seems reasonable for the price, with a slight flatter top section & generally a similar shape, though about a centimetre less reach than the current setup (with these). I shouldn't expect that to make too much difference though, can always go for a longer stem.

I'm the the middle of a build with Zipp 70-ergo bars. Coming from 3T Ergonova Pro which has similar flat top but a bit deeper and no ergo kink on the drops.

I've been on drops for a year and fancied a change so put my old Nitto RB021 Pursuit bars on but by Christ, they hurt my wrists this morning, I couldn't find a comfortable place and I found out of the seat a challenge - I don't know how I used to get on with them so well!
Are there any other choices of bars kinda inbetween drops and bull bars? I dunno, I might just put drops back on :/

Dedacciai?

I'm looking for a set of bars that have a classic bend ( think zipp sl-88 or ritchey neoclassic) but flatter/aero tops. Any ideas?

Anyone got any suggestions of a silver (and I mean plain silver, not black with really loud graphics in silver) 31.8mm risers bars other than Nitto For Shreds?
The Nittos are probably ideal and I should just buy them but it definitely feels like there's a bit of hipster tax on them.

Kore OCD?
Something by Chromag? -

Kore are a bit shouty.
Realising there's a bit more choice if I go for flat bars and hunners of choice if I go 25.4 so might try that.

Can anyone point me in the direction of wide (700mm ish) 25.4 risers? I don't want something with a mega rise so things like Open Prisons and NS bars are out. I've been looking online at the Simworks Mowmow bars but I can't find many alternatives at the moment.
Is there a handlebar thread? I am interested in sharing different handlebar suggestion and ideas. Why do people use different handlebars? Maybe some more "different" ideas.
