I've been following this thread for a while now, and using the advice that has been shared to see some real improvements in my running, so thanks for sharing experience! However i managed to do myself an injury last friday at the end of a long interval session. I've been trawling run forums and not managed to find anything that resembles what i have done, so hoped i could get an answer here before spending money to speak to someone
Near the end of the session, the outside of my left foot developed an intense pain every step. since then anytime i walk any distance the pain comes back quite fast. doesn't hurt sitting down, doesn't hurt walking on my tip toes, only the action of heel to toe. always the lower outside of the foot in pain. And the pain is strong enough i cant continue walking without limping.
Any ideas? As i am not very clever i didn't stop when it started to hurt and didn't ice it afterwards.
