Ha - fair enough. Ignore the naysayers telling you to avoid the Snake. It’s fine and you’ll need to get up it to do the Strines road towards Wigtwizzle, best road in the Peaks.
You’re spoiled for great beer. If you’re in Marple, you’re on the train line between Manc and Sheff.
Recommend Malt Disley and the Paper Mill in Chinley. Lots of interesting beers in both.
