Ty. For me it's about confidence that these things are properly followed up by the police and the hope that the driver thinks twice before he drops off a passenger somewhere it isn't safe in future (which the hit to his insurance will presumably achieve anyway.).
Luckily I think it make no difference (in this case) to my claim.
Well - have just had an apology from Police into the way they investigated (ha!) my clavicle snapping dooring incident. Now that they've actually asked for the front and rear Fly 12 / 6 footage they've decided that the CPS do need to take a gander. Previously they'd decided that because the driver and passenger disagreed about who told who to do what they couldn't do anything more.
Police who dealt with the complaint have been tip top. Police who dealt with the initial incident were abject to the point of being unable to write a coherent email.
