The forks look good on it but I doubted about using them. They have a slightly different axis-to-crown distance so they lift the front a bit (3-5 mm) and changed the bikes geo. But it rides great.

Do you guys happen to know anything about Colnago frames made of Brain tubing? Lower end? Higher end?

My understanding is that brain was a respectable , but lower end steel tubing.

DEsign classic that. I'd love to know more about it's origin. Master builder job.

What wheels are you going with? Someone sell him some deep carbons.

I’ve got those 46mm DT Swiss wheels from my CAAD7 that I’d let go. White spokes though

They won’t be going up for sale on here, I’ll put them on eBay at the weekend and probably get a lot more for them

I’m srs but I mean if you or someone else doesn’t buy them off me now for that much then I’ll chuck them on eBay.
Basically, I’ll pass on the bargain I bought them for if you want them. -

Also the price is the same because I’ve ridden about 10km on them

I really can't get on with those new chunky chainsets, they look godawful, particularly on vintage steel. Great build apart from that.

Yeah I understand what you mean, but I must admit that it does grow on you. I’m starting to like the cranks

The silver ones are definitely awful looking. Dark ones aren't bad.
Fair enough! Do like them straight forks.
