TK Maxx alert.
It has been a previous topic of conversation at Wests.
Popped into the TK M in Ealing last Friday, after being caught out by the rain.
(Mate who runs a caff in Greenford, where I took shelter, took pity on me,
and cooked up my normal beans/mushroom/dry brown toast without me even asking).
TK M Ealing had some outdoor stuff beyond their normal OK standard/level.
Found an oversized (XXL), Berghaus Ridgemaster jacket.
Admittedly not as long as my old (simple mid-80's) cagoule, (that Mrs. m killed
by putting through the washing machine. The internal seam taping came off,
as did blisters of whatever the water repellency layer was).
It has a simple mesh inner layer,
and was perfect on two 2.5 mile/45 minute snowy/windy/sub zero walks across the golf course this weekend.
Realise it is not a 'cycling' jacket, but is a 'get-you-home' unsoaked jacket.
