Trust me. It’s out there. In abundance. I think they’re targeting the gullible sports watching couch potato masses rather than actual sportspeople.
I guess they’re not doing anything Nike et al haven’t done/aren’t doing but it’s the aggressiveness of their sponsorship and the speed at which joe soap decides he/she wants to wear it coz footballer A or gofler B or tennis player C or bobsleigher X is plastered in it on tv that gets my goat.
Under armour. Came from nowhere but by paying every money hungry “celeb” and sportsman to wear their generic sweatshop tat it’s spread to every televised sports event like a cancer. I’m not sure what annoys me more: the greed of the vacuous stars falling over themselves to plastered from head to toe in that heinous logo or the ease at which the above bribery has brainwashed the masses into buying their cheap nasty ugly crap. You can’t walk through a shopping centre/theme park/airport without this constant reminder. I’m not sure why it annoys me so much, but it does.
