V2 of my commuter bike was my Wolverine. Originally picked up when I had no space for a dedicated commuter/beater the idea had been for it to be used as a tour, CX and commuter. As happens often though it ended up in just one mode being used exclusively as a tourer.
So that seemed a waste as it's not the cheapest frameset out there and I didnt want to use it as a beater/lock up bike hence we come to V3 (and circling back into the on-one/px fold following V1).
So it's cheaper, seems to ride nice enough. Kid is getting bigger and I fancied playing with hydro brakes so that's my first time setting them up. 1X to keep it simpler and cheaper still.
Feels stiffer with 20kg of child on the back too than the Wolverine and dropped top tube is nicer getting on and off (old and stiff I am).
