Glad you bought that peloton. It kept giving me this cocquettish look...

It got a Chinese stainless thing. Pretty good actually.

Its name: Muddy Box (carrier).

I'm going to design an MTB sock line and call it 'Muddy Sox'. You heard it here first people.
-
• #118766
Oof, looks like it’s going to be rather heavy.
-
• #118767
It will be heavy, but the electrical assistance will help to not worry about it. It is my first try to build a cargo bike so keeping the cost low. The next one will probably be lighter.

Just had my Basso Astra renovated. Dented top tube replaced by Winston Vaz, lovely job.

Build is nearly finished. Paint is by Cole Coatings. A few hiccups along the way but I'm very happy with the result. Ian was very patient while I spent over an hour choosing colours to match the original.

Excellent. Winston had done work for me as well recently and been a gent and very professional.

Built with a mixture of parts I already had, Carefully searched out used bits and a few NOS parts found at good prices. Had to keep the whole thing including respray under £1200. I think the DEda stem is ugly; any suggestions on an open face quill that's better looking welcome. I might go Ahead later on.

Now I just need to wait for the Russians to stop sending their weather over here so I can ride the fuck out of it
First proper trip will be Isle of Wight and back in two weeks, a bit of hill training to test it out before then. -
